My Career

 The truth is that it was always my first option to study archeology, since I was little I love history and I looked at the pyramids of Egypt, the Mayas, mummies, etc. and I thought is what I want to dedicate myself to. 

Although I was confident when I was little, when making the decision it was difficult, there are many stigmas about archeology in Chile, they told me that there is no work field, that it is a career that I could not live on. This made me quite sad, although my family always supported me 100%, hearing others say those things affected me, and I came to doubt whether to study archeology. 

When they gave me my PSU scores, I doubted even more, since I was enough to study law at the Universidad de Chile and the Universidad Católica, and law was a conventional career with more labor field, it was safer. But after analyzing it with my family and listening well to my heart, I realized that there was never any other option other than archeology, and that doing anything and everything would be unhappy. So far my experience in the race has been good, it is difficult but it is worth it for me, I am very passionate about it.

My favorite movie

I have many favorite movies, of different genres, The Lord of the Rings, The Revenant, Four Rooms, Guardians of the Galaxy and many others. But this time I would like to talk about a movie that I love. Shrek 2

In general I like all Shrek movies, but Shrek 2 has everything a good movie can have. Drama, romance, action, suspense, a good story and of course a good musical. I think it's the movie I've seen the most times, about 100 times I think. The story begins when the ogre Shrek and Princess Fiona go to Far Far Away to meet Fiona's parents, who are the kings of Far Far Away. Shrek from the beginning has problems with King Harold, Fiona's father, for being an ogre, on the other hand Shrek will have to fight with the Fairy Godmother, the mother of Prince Charming, who wants to marry Fiona and be king. Shrek 2 is directed by Andrew Adamson, Kelly Asbury and Conrad Vernon, it is from DreamWorks Animation production company, it was released in Chile on June 17, 2004 and has a duration of 93 minutes

The best concert I've had

 The best concert I've been to by far is Coldplay's, it was on April 3, 2016 at the Estadio Nacional. Coldplay is a British band of pop rock and alternative rock, it is integrated by Chris Martin, Jon Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion. It is considered one of the most relevant groups of the 2000s and 2010. The concert was on their tour "A Head Full Of Dreams" their 2015 album. At the concert they played 20 of their biggest hits. 

The atmosphere of the concert started from nostalgia to euphoria. Each song made you vibrate, the atmosphere was unique with the "xylobands" bracelets with lights that were turned on to the rhythm of the music. The best thing for me was the company, I had the privilege of going with my two brothers, whom I consider my best friends, it was a unique experience to share together. After the concert our parents went to look for us and we all went to eat pizza together, it was a perfect day!

Another memory I have is the almost 8 hours we had to wait before entering the Estadio Nacional, with lots of sun and without being able to sit down, but it is part of the process haha.

 Hello everybody!

There are many countries and places that I would like to visit, but if I have to choose one, I would say Mexico. It has everything I like, archaeological sites like Teotihuacán, Chichén Itzá and many Mayan pyramids, amazing gastronomy, and Caribbean beaches like Playa del Carmen or Cancun.

I would love to study and work there. Learn their ancestral culture, and maybe teach South American and Chilean culture. In fact, one of my plans before Covid 19 was to go to study in Mexico as an exchange, to learn their culture, and about their ancestors and native peoples, meet new people and their way of see the world. I hope I can make it one day. Another thing that I like about Mexico and  their culture is how they see the death. After my mother died, I look different ways of see the death, and one of the ones that I like the most was the Mexican, she made me feel that my mom will always be with me and that people never die if they are remembered.
